Breathing Easy (smoking cessation)

Breathing Easy is an 8 week smoking cessation program which offers support and education to adults who are either trying to cut down on the number of cigarettes smoked and/or wish to quit smoking altogether. Topics covered include: the benefits of quitting, goal setting, identifying triggers, the effects of smoking on health, stress management and lifestyle options. Cardio and Conditioning Group

This beginner exercise group is lead by trained fitness instructors and allows participants to work at their own pace while improving their cardiovascular, strength and flexibility fitness levels. Dance Fitness

Healthy Cooking on a Budget

City Centre Staff (dietitian and health promoter) offer a six-week series in which participants observe cooking demonstrations and learn recipes related to healthy eating on a budget. Educational topics pertaining to food preparation, food safety, nutrition information and food purchasing skills are also covered. Healthy Weight Loss Program

Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions

Overcoming Anxiety Group

Socially Speaking Group

This is a six week group for persons who because of a chronic illness find it difficult to be in social settings and desire to actively increase their comfort level. Examples of group themes will include: living mindfully, developing a relationship with self, conversation skills, assertiveness skills, healthy boundaries, and relaxation skills. Yoga for Wellness (once a month)
