Cardio and Conditioning Group

This beginner exercise group is lead by trained fitness instructors and allows participants to work at their own pace while improving their cardiovascular, strength and flexibility fitness levels. Yoga for Wellness Group

Learn the practice of yoga to experience a number of health benefits including increased flexibility, strength, calmness, stress reduction, better breathing and body awareness. Chronic Disease Management Program (CDSMP)

 Community-based client education six week course developed by the Stanford Patient Education Research Centre that teaches individuals the skills needed to manage day-to-day challenges of living with a chronic health condition. Contact: Wendy Gatti at (519) 255-9940 ext. 359 for more information.


Healthy Cooking on a Budget

City Centre Staff (dietitian and health promoter) offer a six-week series in which participants prepare and cook recipes related to healthy eating on a budget. Educational topics pertaining to food preparation and food safety, nutrition information and food purchasing skills are also covered. Breathing Easy (Smoking Cessation)

Breathing Easy is an 8 week smoking cessation program which offers support and education to adults who are either trying to cut down on the number of cigarettes smoked and/or wish to quit smoking.  Topics covered include: the benefits of quitting, goal setting, identifying triggers, the effects of smoking on our health, stress management and lifestyle options.  Contact Laura Liebrock as (519) 255-9940 ext. 353 for more information.


Asthma Clinic

The Primary Care Asthma Program (PCAP) is an evidence-based asthma program intended to provide primary care providers with decision aids to support best practice regarding asthma assessment, diagnosis and management.  The asthma care program is delivered within a multidisciplinary team of primary care providers with the support of a Certified Asthma Educator.  The Educator designs, develops, delivers and evaluates asthma programs.  Contact our health care centre at (519) 971-0116 for more information.


Hepatitis C Treatment Program

Food for Thought

Food for thought is a six week support and education program with a focus of learning healthy methods of coping with moods and reducing mindless eating habits. This program is for women 18 years of age and older who find that they are eating in response to their feelings rather than in response to hunger. Anxiety Group

Ongoing and open weekly group designed to help persons better cope with their anxiety. A variety of relevant topics are explored to assist participants in coping with their everyday life situations.
